What does ERP mean?

ERPs (Enterprise Resource Planning) are systems designed to manage a company’s core business processes, such as product planning, inventory management, sales and shipping costs. ERP software is developed focusing on helping employers and employees manage all these areas in a centralized way.

ERP systems or intranets deal with internal management while those related to contact with customers are called CRM.
